Ward liked being a client of Tealwood so much he decided to join the team.

Ward joined Tealwood in 2006 after 37 years in the investment banking industry. He graduated from the University of Minnesota with a history degree and was captain of the men's golf team. Ward's passion for golf continues as he is a Golf Digest "100 Greatest" rating panelist and a USGA Committee person. Ward also serves as a member of the Board of Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity and has a long history of volunteerism for organizations such as Twin Cities Public Television, Hamline University, Western Golf Association, Friends of the St. Paul Library, Humane Society for Companion Animals and YMCA Camp Widjiwagan.
