FOUNDATION AND BALANCED

The Foundation Portfolio seeks long-term capital appreciation by investing primarily in quality large-cap businesses at discounted prices. Our approach is Value and Quality. We pursue this objective with a proven investment discipline that has provided our clients with consistent and constructive results since inception in 1987.

A typical investor in this portfolio is interested in long-term appreciation, the risk control benefits of large-cap companies that are proven leaders in the market, and a long-term relationship with their investment manager.

Typically, the Foundation Portfolio will include companies with market capitalization greater than $10 billion.

A balanced account can be created by blending the foundation portfolio stocks with appropriate fixed income securities.

  3. Strategic Analysis: A sustainable, competitive advantage provides on-going opportunities for growth.
  4. Qualitative Judgement: Quality of management coupled with industry bias can also provide growth opportunities.
