“The financial crises of 2008 impacted so many. For me, it suddenly ended a successful nine-year career in the building industry. As I began the search for a new direction, I was drawn to the idea of working to regain and build to greater financial health for my family as well as for others. Tealwood’s investment philosophy of capitalizing on investment opportunities of the coming economic expansion while managing for risks going forward, and of investing for quality and value, resonated with me. My clients and I could build toward our own financial goals together.
Over ten years later, contributing to clients’ financial health and achieving their priorities continues to invigorate my work. Especially inspiring is partnering with those – often women – who, for whatever reason, have previously not been as involved in the financial/investment conversation and now find they want or need to be. Being part of fostering greater foundational financial literacy and confidence is exceptionally rewarding.”
