Charlie been in the investment business since 1982 and joined Tealwood in 1995.  He was CEO and CIO from 2006-2024 and now as Chairman. He holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) designation from the Center for Fiduciary Studies, which includes the study of legal standards required by fiduciaries to prudently manage investment decisions.

Charlie is a graduate of Coe College with a B.A. in American Studies. He serves as a Board member and Chairman of the Minnesota Historical Society’s investment committee, and also volunteers with the Western Golf Association’s Evans Scholar Foundation and TPT.  

Charlie is an avid reader and lifelong student of history, including market history. He tap dances to work each day and enjoys spending time with his wife, Teri, their four children, and four grandchildren.
